Joshua with Destiny children choir
Last night I met for the very first time my very own sponsored child Through Destiny children choir . I cannot begin to explain the kindness they shared and how empowering there little voices are . They were inspiring and motivated children with the biggest smiles and so much energy with dreams to fulfill . Many people were displaced during the rebel war that ravaged Uganda . Without the pain and suffering of children loosing parents due to the civil war there other battle in Uganda was HIV/Aids. Many children are left orphaned and many children Abandoned . The Kampala children centre help to raise these children who are often frail and abandoned without love and care . KCC help the children by building their confidence with Education, listening , and ultimately loving these children . Around 12 children live in each family home with a house mother. Once in this situation the children are given love care and attention like we give our own children. i encourage anyone who want to see them on their european tour and tour of America to go along and hear there beautiful voices . I learnt that my sponsored son Joshua loves to play with his friends he has made and he loves to play soccer . I was very impressed with his beautiful Sining voice and his wonderful dancing . Such a wonderful performer and so very humble even though he was amazingly clever . We were able to spend some time together and talk personally and it was hard to go home knowing that the time we had together was important and I wanted Joshua to know we loved him very much . Joshua kindness was in abundance as he helped me to sit on a chair as his little hand reached out for a chair and as we signed the paperwork to sponsor him he held my hand all the time . I looked into the eyes of this little boy and his cute face and knew his support links are so sturdy but I wished we could have had longer together . Joshua had asked if I could see him again whilst they were touring but I released that they had already been to the closest places that could have easily reached . Myself and my husband don't have the luxury of having a car to go to the next place on their tour list. We did however tell him that we would easily host him next year when they tour again. I hope that we get the chance to visit Joshua when he is in Uganda or even when Joshua returns we could have time with him as Hosts . Also i wanted to add a few photos of my own son who made a very big step by getting up and joining the choir on the stage to which i was truly proud of him for that . Caleb also helped me choose joshua and we certainly made a commitment that was a forever bond .
Excuse the blurry photo but these pics were to priceless not to include
